How an order works
Five steps, from the first message to delivery.
1. You reach out
Over WhatsApp or with our quote tool, tell us the occasion, your event date and how many servings you need.
2. We design and quote
July reviews your idea, proposes the design, and confirms the price once she knows the details.
3. You confirm with a deposit
A 50% deposit books your date on the calendar. Without a deposit, the date isn't reserved.
4. We produce it
We prepare your cake with the time the chosen technique requires — never less.
5. We deliver
At your door in a conditioned vehicle, or you pick it up at the workshop following the transport protocol.
Why the minimum lead times aren't negotiable
It depends on the technique. A buttercream cake or a bento cake needs a minimum of 48 hours. A fondant cake needs 4 days, and a sculpture or 3D figures need 5. This isn't stubbornness: fondant and modeling set by gravity, and rushing the process makes the figure warp or collapse. If your date is very close, we'll offer you a beautiful alternative in buttercream with high-quality printed toppers.
Delivery: insurance for your cake, not shipping
Yes, and it's the option we recommend most. Our delivery service isn't simple shipping: it's peace of mind insurance. We have a conditioned vehicle and a driver experienced in moving delicate cakes, and we take responsibility for your cake arriving intact at your table. The cost varies by area of Cuenca.
Of course, you can pick it up at our workshop. Keep in mind that once it's in your hands, transport is your responsibility. You'll need a vehicle with a flat surface (the passenger floor or an empty trunk with a non-slip mat), air conditioning on, and smooth driving with no hard braking. Cakes can never travel on your lap or on sloped seats: body heat melts the frosting and the movement deforms them.
We don't hand cakes over to motorbike services, including delivery apps. The vibration and tilt of the backpack destroy the structure and decoration, and we don't want you receiving a broken piece. If you need it delivered elsewhere in the city, our own delivery service is the safe option.
